Machine Taps — Straight Flute (Form C)

Straight flute Form C machine taps feature parallel cutting grooves and a medium-length chamfer (2-3.5 thread leads) for high structural rigidity. Their thick cross-section allows them to withstand high torque when cutting short-chipping materials or high-hardness alloys. Because they push chips forward, they are optimally deployed in through-holes or sufficiently deep blind holes. Industrial applications include general-purpose internal threading in cast iron, brass, and bronze components on lathes and machining centers.
