Flush Nuts

Flush nuts are low-profile self-clinching fasteners specifically engineered to provide strong, reusable female threads while maintaining a completely smooth, protrusion-free surface on both sides of the host panel. They are permanently installed via a cold-press process where ductile sheet material flows into the fastener's undercut, generating high axial and torsional strength despite the fastener's dimensional constraints. Often manufactured from 300-series stainless steel, they are critical for applications where surface interference must be avoided, such as tightly packed PCB enclosures, aerodynamic aerospace panels, and precision medical devices.
