Dome Nuts

Acorn nuts, or cap nuts, are hex-driven fasteners featuring a distinctive enclosed, domed crown that caps external male threads. While not intended for high-stress structural loads, the closed dome acts as a protective barrier, preventing thread damage from environmental contaminants, reducing corrosion, and mitigating injury risks from sharp bolt ends.
