U-Bolts

U-bolts are U-shaped structural fasteners equipped with two threaded legs designed to securely clamp cylindrical objects to flat support structures. Forged from carbon or high-strength alloy steels, they provide immense tensile clamping force and prevent axial movement or vibration-induced shifting. They can be engineered for gripped configurations to rigidly anchor pipes, or non-gripped configurations to allow for controlled thermal expansion. Principal applications include pipeline suspension, automotive leaf spring attachments, and high-load structural steel framing.
